Many Loves, Many Gods
The Poly-Pagan Continuum

Paganism, a positive, earth-based umbrella of religions, is among the fastest growing faiths today. Given that many Pagans experience god and goddess forms of the divine as expressions of ultimate love, it isn't surprising that many are also polyamorous-open to more than one relationship in the physical as well as the spiritual realms.

The workshop will begin as participants are invited to take part in a ritual of entering into sacred space. We will then explore the messages we receive about love and spirituality through dominant culture media and pinpoint primary differences that exist for those who identify as Pagan, poly, or both. We will contemplate and discuss the interplay of polyamory and religion in our lives, the breakthroughs and the challenges, and how venturing into one may or may not have helped illuminate the other.

Then through contemplative techniques of ritual, guided meditation, and chant, we will enter into direct connection with our individual sacredness and encourage visioning the forms of God/dess that emerges for each of us. A sacred spiritual playtime of gentle touch, eye-gazing, and massage while embodying Spirit will follow, during which all will be encouraged to invite their special forms of the Divine into the affectionate/erotic space as offering and unification.

This intensive is designed for those who have some exposure to metaphysical experience and are generally comfortable with polyamory. Singles, couples, and multi-partner groups are all welcome.

Presenter: Robin Renee
If Robin Renée were to start a religion all her own, it might well hold Groupie Consciousness as its central tenet. She chases after the God/dess within with a reverence and fervor not unlike her passion for the music that moves her most- acts as disparate as Elvis Costello, Krishna Das, James Taylor, Gary Wilson, and Devo. Those in the know are realizing that Renée is worthy of just as much hot pursuit. Oh, and that religion? There'd also be lots of yoga, a strong belief in cartoon physics, a little sexiness, and zero dogma.

Such is the musical and magical world of Robin Renée. Her accessible tunes with a spiritual twist have forged her personal genre--Mantra-Pop! The seeds of her diverse influences can be uncovered therein, as well as a longtime focus on Eastern and eclectic mysticism, the mystery that cuts to the core of this powerful singer and wordsmith. At a live show today you might catch a solo acoustic set, a collaboration, or pure kirtan- a form of Hindu devotional chanting in Sanskrit, with which she finds deep resonance.
