Enlightened Perverts In Ecstasy: Traveling the Sacred Paths of Pleasure

In this intensive workshop, Barbara Carrellas, author of Urban Tantra: Sacred Sex for the Twenty-First Century, invites you to celebrate your precious and sacred inner pervert.

Gatherings such as Beltane give us the opportunity to meet and mingle with other enlightened perverts. In the process, we can stretch ourselves and uncover previously unexpressed or undiscovered desires, dreams and skills. In this intensive workshop Barbara leads us on an expedition through the inner wilderness of our own enlightened perversions. We'll travel the roads of sex, spirit, Tantra and S/M as we discover where in our worlds these paths meet and how they can form new communities.

Using techniques and exercise borrowed from a variety of sacred sex traditions, we'll first look at our boundaries-how they have changed over time and whether any of them have become self-imposed limitations. We'll explore the nature of erotic connection, trust, power, erotic journeying, sex magic, and visions. You'll learn how to stretch yourself into new ecstatic possibilities without shattering the boundaries that keep you safe. Throughout the process we'll learn how to support, nurture and heal each other with the conscious use of sexual energy.

This is a particularly appropriate workshop for people who have long felt like sex and/or gender outlaws. Whether you're Pagan and/or polyamorous, sadist and/or sensualist, transgendered and/or transcendentalist, join us for a shared journey into the totality of ecstatic possibilities.
