Lady Eclipse has been a practicing pagan and energy worker for 15 years and a Reiki Master. Yoga, energy work, and meditation have been a part of her path almost from the beginning. Over that time, she has studied a variety of yogic, divinatory, and energy pathworks with yogi, mystic, and Reiki Master, Monica Parsley of Sedona, AZ and Clan of the Knotted Ash, Buffalo, NY and Alexandria, VA. She maintains a daily energetic and meditation practice to help her keep her energetic body clear of obstructions.
Over the years, she has lead public and private rituals and taught over the years for a variety of groups including: EarthRising, a CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) group in Newport News, VA; Sacred Circle Books in Alexandria, VA; Charles County Pagans in Charles County, MD; Fertile Ground Gathering in Manassas, VA; Open Hearth Foundation in Washington, DC; Earthweavers in Winsor, VA; Clan of the Knotted Ash in Alexandria, VA and Buffalo, NY; Nomadico Festival in Virginia; and in private homes throughout Virginia and Maryland.
In recent years, she has taught classes in Chakras, Pendulums, Meditation, Pagan 101, Personal Energy Clearing, Norse Personal Hallowings, etc.
She is, also, an active herb and vegetable gardener, an amateur folk herbalist, a scientist, a potter, and a roller derby player.
This experiential workshop will introduce participants to a variety of meditation techniques, since not all types of meditation work for everyone. The workshop will guide the participants through several meditation sessions using several different techniques, including energetic clearing, chakra, chanting, drumming, self guided journeying, silent meditation, and maybe a few others. The workshop will also help participants, who are interested in incorporating meditation into their daily lives with techniques that help settle the “monkey” mind that we all experience when first starting to meditate. We will discuss some tips and tricks to help with calming the mind and entering a meditative mind state. Techniques will be discussed to help prepare the body, mind, spirit, and environment for meditation.
